Welcome to Armoy PS
Thank you for having a look at our website. Its purpose is to give you snapshot of who we are and what we do ... but nothing beats coming along and seeing the school as it really is.
Perhaps you have already visited Armoy Primary but if not, you are most welcome to make an appointment to view the school where a warm welcome awaits!
Choosing the right school for your child is one of the most important decisions you will make. We hope that this website not only gives you the information that you need, but also a flavour of the caring, friendly atmosphere that exists.
We value every child and aim to give every pupil the opportunity to experience success in all areas of development. But our expectations can only be fulfilled if we work effectively in partnership, with you, the parents.
Together we can make the next seven years in school a rewarding experience for your child and, hopefully, some of the happiest times in your child’s life. Children are at the heart of our school and our school is at the heart of it's community.
Our committed team of teachers and assistants provide a safe, friendly environment in which our children are able
to grow in confidence, to learn and to develop their talents and abilities in preparation for tomorrow’s world and their future in it.
We welcome children of all abilities, of all faiths and of none. We are proud of how we integrate children and families from all backgrounds and cultures. We are proud of being from North Antrim and even prouder to come from Armoy ... our rich history from the famous running Mc Cooke to the Armoy Armada makes us a school and village to be proud of.
In recent years our school has been on a marvellous journey with pupil numbers doubling, curriculum developing, breakfast and after school clubs booming and PTA events raising more money than ever. But what makes us prouder are the happy, well mannered children proudly wearing their school badge, making better academic progress every single year.
We look forward to you joining us on our journey … learning together.
Yours sincerely,
Mrs C Steele,
Principal
