P3/4

P3/4 have been very busy this term  so far! Our new topic is weather watchers and as part of our class project we will be making rain gauges!

Independence and responsibility is flourishing in P3/4 with the appointment of weekly Table, Role Play and Pencil monitors who ensure books are given out correctly, our role play and reading area are kept neat and tidy and our pencils are always sharp ready to go!

In Literacy, the children have been improving their understanding of grammar by doing focused activities on punctuation and adjectives and nouns. They have been using this knowledge to aid their sentence building.

In Numeracy, we have been focusing on using the Numicon to aid our understanding of addition and subtraction within 100 and our times tables. We have also been identifying and building 3D shapes.
