Armoy Primary School are an Eco School and we have been awarded our Green Flag which we are very proud of.
Meet our Eco Team for 2023-24. These children have shown an interest in keeping our school eco-friendly and have been nominated and voted for by their classmates. Now the responsibility begins!
This year we will be working towards our next Green Flag Award.
Our Eco Team meet once a month to discuss ideas and have decided that our main focus for our Green Flag award will be biodiversity. We will also be keeping up with other areas such as recycling and outdoor learning. Here are some of our ideas:
- Have a clean up crew to keep the school grounds looking good
- Continue to sort our rubbish and recycle
- Have an Eco Assembly
- Make bird feeders/ build a new bug hotel
- Refresh our Eco posters
- Watch how much electricity we use
- Cash for clobber
